Precision Data Products New Accounts department is in Grand Rapids,
MI. Our representatives are ready to answer inquiries about:
When establishing an account, we require that
each customer submit a Precision Data Products Application and if
Tax Exempt, a copy of your Certificate (we only collect sales tax
for the State of Michigan). We will ship c.o.d. or you may prepay
using your Visa card, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card
if there is an order pending. Please contact your New Account
representative for details.

Precision Data Products saves you valuable time by making ordering
easy. You can choose form several convenient and easy-to-use
ordering methods, including the Web site, toll-free telephone
orders, Fax ordering, E-mail and EDI.

ELECTRONIC ORDERS
Place
your orders on our Web site. We provide 15 minute real-time delay
services over a secure line. You can also e-mail your orders
directly to Sales@precision.com
or if you know who your salesperson is you can e-mail them
directly. For information on these services or other electronic
ordering services, call any of the numbers listed above or send an
e-mail to Sales@precision.com.
SHIPPING
Precision Data Products ships prepaid and add via
United Parcel Service (UPS). Orders shipped c.o.d. by UPS are
assessed an additional fee of $7.00 per shipment. UPS will only
accept company and certified checks as form of payment (they will
not accept cash).
We will ship,
at your expense, via any express carrier service you request. When
you request a carrier other than Precision Data Products carrier of
choice, you will bear risk of loss and freight expenses for such
shipments.
Claims for
loss or damage in shipment must be made to Precision Data Products
within 30 calendar days of anticipated receipt. Claims for
shortages, damages and invoice discrepancies must be made to
Precision Data Products within 30 calendar days of receipt.

Our Customer Service
Department is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. You
may also send a Return Authorization (RMA) request via the Web site
at www.precision.com
RETURNS
Our returns facility is ready to process your
returns. When returning stock balance, defective or DOA items, be
sure to:
- Call,
E-mail or use our Web to request an RMA
number before you return the product. RMAs are valid only within
20 days of issuance. You are responsible for all stock balance
return freight charges.
- Furnish Customer
Service with your name and account number, our part number(s) and
product description(s).
- RMA must appear on
exterior of shipping carton (best if on or near shipping label)
- Include one RMA
per carton
- Serial number may
be required
Precision Data
Products requires pre-authorization for the return of all products.
Products not authorized for return shall be defined as "overgoods."
Any overgoods received will, at our discretion, be returned to you
at your expense, processed for credit of last purchase price,
current price, and cost of goods less a 15-percent handling fee, or
no credit will be issued. Precision Data Products will not be
liable for any loss or damage to overgoods.
Do
not write addresses or RMA numbers on the outside of the
manufacturer's boxes. Products must be in in a resalable condition
to receive credit. Package all returns to prevent damage in
transit.
We expect all
nondefective/DOA returns to be in resalable condition, complete and
unused. For returned merchandise, wi will chare you a minimum of 50
cents per item for shrink-wrapping, sticker removal, ect. Items
returned as stockable but received in a damaged box will be assessed
a rebox fee of $35. Refused orders may be subject to a cancellation
fee.
Call Customer
Service before refusing any shipment and have the above information
available when you place your call. Failure to follow these return
instructions may result in credit refusal, and products will be
returned to you at your expense.
