Account Manager - Inside Sales - As the driving force behind our growth, our Account Managers build consultative, long-term relationships with business customers and educational institutions all over the country. You will help these customers by introducing them to the best technology products and services from the industry’s leading companies.

Requirements:
To qualify, you should have a BA/BS degree and/or 2 years of solid sales experience, not including retail. In return for your talent, we will support you with paid training that provides the tools necessary for you to be well versed in technology, as well as an expert in salesmanship and service.

1.  Do I need to have a computer background?

No, however a keen interest in computers and the industry is very important.

2.  Do I need to have a sales background?

Yes, you should have some background in sales or customer service.  We can teach you what you need to know about computers.

3.  How much can I expect to make in my first year with Precision Data Products?

The answer depends on your abilities and willingness to work hard for your customers.  Majority of your income will be derived from commissionable sales.  On average,  new salespeople with little or no background in computers and little sales experience make between $25,000 and $28,000 in the first year.  Those with experience in sales may make $30,000 or more while those with a background in computers and sales should exceed $36,000 easily.  Most often, subsequent years of employment will produce, on average, 15% - 20% income increases.  Our program, of course, offers no guarantees.  On the other hand there is no cap on your income.  A large percentage of our sales team earn annually into six figures.  

4.  What kind of tools will Precision Data Products support me with.

In addition to the standard office equipment you will be set up with T1 internet access, e-mail, e-commerce catalogs and the ability to set-up secure web sites for individual customer use.

5.  What are some of the things Precision Data Products is looking for?

Requirements:
• High school graduate, college preferred
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written
• Prior sales experience a must
• Customer service oriented approach to sales
• Ability to multi-task
• Familiar with Excel, Word and Outlook
• Highly organized
